Nicholas grew up in Upper Harbour and has lived here most of his life. He currently lives in Unsworth Heights with his family, dog, and a couple thousand native plants he has grown for local restoration projects.

He is passionate about creating an environment that benefits people and nature. With a BA/BBS in politics and economics he has spent most of his working life advocating for people. He founded the Upper Waitematā Ecology Network; attends churches in Greenhithe and Hobsonville Point; and his children go to schools in Albany. In his free time he enjoys exploring our local parks, either at a walking pace or as part of a Parkrun event.

Nicholas already has the experience of serving two terms on the Local Board. Working with other Living Upper Harbour candidates, he hopes to support Healthy Active Communities, Growing Green Space, Greater Transport Choices, and a Resilient Sustainable Economy.
